TASTER DAYS |
|||||
| The day starts with a phone call to check weather conditions and location details. We usually meet at 10.30 am and after attending to the paperwork we move to the slope and begin by rigging the Glider/s. Once rigged we do our safety checks and if possible do a demo flight. |

| It’s now your turn! We show you how to put the harness and helmet on, making adjustments if needed. The rest of the day is spent with you and the other members of the group flying whilst instructors and assistants are keeping the glider/s secure by holding them with tethers. |

| Depending on the weather conditions it is likely that the pilots will spend most of their flying time at heights from a few inches to feet above the ground. At all times the glider is held secure by the Instructor and side wire assistants, thereby keeping the pilot safe from harm. |

Due to the techniques used, this system is suitable for people of all ages from teens to pensioners. The day usually ends around 4pm when we can all head for the nearest Pub/Café where we can reflect on the day over our favourite drink.
